Subject: Should Tom Dundon Fire Ron Francis?
Content: Another Trade Deadline has come and go and Ron Francis has done almost nothing to improve a Carolina Hurricanes squad that is within reach of the playoffs for the first time in 8 years. Every GM in the league has February 26th 2018 marked in their calendar. Its their last chance to improve their squad for the a run at the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Many fans are wondering if Ron Francis, GM for the Carolina Hurricanes has forgotten to mark his calendar. As 3:00 PM ET deadline approached many teams made deals for either the now or the future. The Clayton Richard Youth Jersey Bruins paid a king’s ransom for the Ranger’s Nash. Columbus acquired a number of players. Even the first-year Golden Knights were buying and dealing to make an already formidable group even stronger. How did Ron Francis and the Carolina Hurricanes do? A single trade. Josh Jooris for Penguins’ Greg McKegg. Jooris was placed on waivers earlier this season and send down to Charlotte after clearing along with Marcus Kruger. McKegg, who was sent to Charlotte, is an AHL player who has had a few stints in the NHL. In those stints he played an accumulative 91 games with a total of 6 goals and 13 points. It’s clear that McKegg will not (and should not) play with the Carolina Hurricanes. So why did Francis make that deal instead of something Victor Oladipo Jersey Womens to improve playoff chances? There are many arguments. None of them are any good. Has Francis decided to tank the season? He hasn’t sold any of our expiring players. He would be fooling himself if he thinks this Ray Nitschke Jersey squad has what it takes to get into the post-season.
